New to this forum. I have a 2001 LX 470 with 50 K miles that I just love (my 4th LC\LX). I just had the brakes redone (new pads and rotors turned) because of wear and squealing. However, the squealing hasn't gone away. The brakes do get heavy use (we live on some steep hills) but I only have 50 miles on the brake job and I certainly don't recall this problem previously.
I am sure there are previous posts on this but I haven't found any in my review so far. Thanks for any help.
P.S. Also contemplating getting one of the last of the genuine articles, the 2007 LX, before they stop production. I am nervous that the next one just won't have the build quality and go-anywhere capabilities that this generation has.

I will assume you did not have the dealer do the job. If so, they would have bled the brakes and exchanged the brake fluid. This is important to your brake system. It should be done every 30K miles.
You'll need to take it to a dealer, Toyota or Lexus, for the system bleed. They have the diagnostic tool to activate the solenoids in the ABS pump.
You'll need to have the task inspected to insure the shims were installed and they are in correctly.
Were all four rotors turned? Off or on the vehicle? (On is best)
