Please remember my request to let the moderators do the moderating on ClubLexus suhyuk.

And if you change my quote as you did in this thread again (which I just noticed), you'll take a four week vacation from the forum I noticed you did that to another member recently - knock it off. Please.

suhyuk1214, - with your reply you are basically asking other members to change their behaviour on the forum when you seemingly don't understand what is going on.

The other members were having a decent discussion and not breaking any forum rules or arguing.... they are simply discussing and do not agree on every point. All of your responses in this thread are out of order and not needed.

The other response you recently modified I deleted. It was baiting another member about a K&N intake.

Don't reply again here - let's get this thread back on topic please.

You're right. It does lock 50:50, however I do have the an LSD, so yeah. I just looked into it as that because it isn't supposed to be driven on dry pavement.

That's what i thought. I rented one a few years ago and tested out the system. It is actually nice to have that function along with LSD.

I love the LX.
It's very capable off road, in the end though it depends on the driver.

However, the LX is a great piece of gear to have. There is only one other truck I would consider, the G-wagon. But the reliablity of that truck is to be desired, my uncle has one

What year does your uncle have?? G-wagens before 2002 and after 2003.5 are very reliable and durable. 2002-2003 were bad years...first two years of MB implementing electronics. Most were electrical issues. The powertrain, suspension, and body & frame are bullet-proof and rust-proof (supposedly, MB claims all G after 1991 are rust-proof forever.)

Nailed it on the spot my friend, he's got a 2003.
He has many electrical issues, but not a problem, it's his daily driver
He is a Mercedes boy, us on the other hand are Lexus men.

Germans cannot make reliable electronics if their life depended on it!! You should ask him if he has had any door window problems...if not, then he will.

He has, broken window regulators.
Guess where my dads SL is -- yes in the shop. Xenons are becoming strobe lights and the shop cannot figure out what is wrong.

This must be punishment for being a Lexus lover while being a moderator at mbworld.

I have a quick LX related question -- I'm sure most folks know of the hook in the rear where you can put on a tow strap, but in the front, is there a way to extent it? It looks as if the front bumper will be damaged if I use the front hook
