LMAO That's great. I had a 350Z and on the Z site a guy posted a picture of this big puffy seat covers he put in his 350Z, I never laughed so loud in my life. It was great. I would go back to the thread every couple of weeks when I needed a good laugh. Now I don't have a problem with anyone customizing his rig anyway they want. But I do like a good laugh. Thanks

why would u want to make an SUV "sporty"
i believe thats what a "sports car" is for
SUV's should be kept looking luxurious IMO
leave it to a coupe to be sporty and fast
if i were you i would worry more about the suspension on your LX or upgrade the interior. For an SUV, i think its amazing as it is

no, the cayenne line, the x5 4.8 and the range rover sport supercharged are all great ideas. Even the SRT8 jeep which cant even tow anything and the chevy trailblazer SS.
The current LX, even with lowering and suspension packages and a TRD supercharger will never be on that level. However a RX done that way would be unbelieveable. You just cant sling 3 tons of LX470 around like the rest of the SUVs i mentioned.
Lucky, i saw that LX on ebay. The only good think about that truck was its smoked taillights, thats it.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo 0-60 in 5.6 seconds. Cayenne Turbo S in under 4.8 seconds. Magazines have tested faster as porsche always understates their vehicles performance.
I can vouce for the handling on the Cayenne Turbo. I had one up at 145 on the highway cutting through traffic. It handled better then my 1991 911 Carrera 4. Then I took it out on curvy backroads upstate. Again, outhandled my 911. And the brakes, they will stop your heart they are so strong.
Now, Lexus has never truely taken a stab at other companies "Performance" vehicles. Thus, you can not evenly compare a IS, ES, SC, GS, LS, RX, GX, or LX to any other companies, "AMG", "M", "S/RS" or what have you. However, you can say that, with a few aftermarket mods, or JDM parts your SC400 or whatever is at the level of a performance line from germany.
