If anyone is ordering one, buy mine. It's sitting in the garage, two weeks old.

It just wasn't the style I wanted, so I took one for the team to see exactly what it was like (since their pictures didn't really show). Since I would have to do actual body work (fill in old deflector holes, drill new ones, paint, etc.) I decided I didn't want to be less than 100% satisfied. Thus, the spoiler sits in the garage.

Great looking LX, Joe. I ordered my spoiler from Lexus and had the dealership install, the invoice was not pretty.

Any pic ? and pls tell us what the cost was. Some of us are still waiting to get this. For me, its the last of the mods I want to put on the truck, so I'd be pretty interested to hear about cost, and see some pics.

Dam. I did not know the LX had that deflector, I thought it was only on the LC. The neat part of the aftermarket spoiler I got was that it bolts into the OEM holes where the previous 3rd brake light had been. Then there were two rubber gromets that popped out on the underside (one that included the wiring for the rear defrost I assume) that allowed easy consealed access to the wholes I had to drill in the hatch. Filling stuff = Cost/No fun. Would not be too much in that case to have a dealer install.

AS FOR THE STYLE - I would have been happy with the smaller OEM spoiler, but again, its the wifes and with only $1800 invested.... I am very happy with it. If I was going to go out and pay to have it installed/painted ect... I would have gone with the smaller one.

Maybe I will stop by the body shop tomorrow and get a estimate on the bottom paint. It will be Paint VS Landscaping though.... wife will not like these options as much!
