LX450 Outside mirror question

LX450 Outside mirror question
I have an issue with my 97 Lx450, where I lost a clip that holds the outside mirror onto the breakaway hinge. All I can seem to find is the complete mirror assembly from the dealer. This seems a bit overkill for a seemingly small problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

you should be able to get a fairly quick answer there. you should also be able to find a few people parting out landcruisers (and possibly lx 450s) there -- you could find a replacement fairly inexpensively.
and as far as Jim goes...I think he specializes in the 470...but I could be mistaken
