Default Sad Day...Time To Part With My 2004 LX!

Just purchased a nice conversion van for my growing family, so no need for an SUV, also. I'll miss this thing! Here is the eBay link for anyone interested.

Hey Adam...

Thanks for the offer. Honestly, I probably wouldn't sell it for a penny under $40K, and even that's a bit of a stretch for me. The book value on it is almost $46K, and that's without the tv's and night vision. I only owe about $5,000 on it, so I'm not desperate to sell it. Having said that, I'm fairly confident it will probably sell on eBay, as there are LX's on there that don't have half as many amenities selling well into the $40's. Thanks again for the offer. If anything changes, I'll let you know. In the interim, you're more than welcome to join in the bidding on eBay

I think based on your vehicle $45K is a very good price. If I were you I would not take anything less. Good luck

not exactly david. I think the LX's will hold value still into the first year or two of the LX570. Anything from 03+ should hold for a while.

LMAO Have you seen the new LX570??? If anything the value of the 98-2007 LX470 will go up in value. If you want the new LX's drive train just buy the new Tundra in the configuration that you need its way better looking then the new LX570. I'm keeping my LX470 now for a long time and hope someone comes out with something I will like in the future.

I agree with you david about the owners wanting something new and more LX470's will be on the market, but I bet these buyers will get something other then the butt ugly LX570

This happens every year...the new model will make the old model lower in value. In the history of mankind, there were only a few vehicle that held it's value after discontinuation (e.g. Defender) or new model intro...and i doubt LX is one of those vehicle. Vehicles nowadays just don't hold value like they used to. For one thing, with LX570 intro or not, all BIG SUVs go down in value when gas prices go up.
