i have a 2000 lx, and today i went to open my moonroof and it only goes back about a quarter of an inch and stops. the tilt feature still works, but it will not slide back. anyone have any ideas on my situation?

no one ever had this problem i take it.

sounds like you may have something stuck in the path of the moonroof's movement, like a rock or something. i doubt your moonroof motor went bad. im not sure how you're gonna be able to determine what it is on your own without some disassembly. try tilting the moonroof up and see if you can see any obstructions inside. or try opening it as far as it will go and then see if you can see anything. maybe someone else with more experience can chime in?
