The LX isn't pretentious appearing and that's one of the things I like the most about it. I would hate driving a Range Rover or Escalade because of the attention they get.

I like how understated they are. I know when I'm riding in it, I feel totally comfortable. I would be somewhat uncomfortable in some of the other aformentioned rigs just knowing people are probably thinking of what an ignorant A-hole you are (since I kind of do that). Even when I see other 100's or 80's I think to myself, "what a really nice vehicle" and "how smart those people must be, buying a truck like that". It actually adds practicallity to the luxury SUV segment.

i don't know what you guys are even talking about. When I see an lx and ooh and ahh and point it out to my wife and kids. The 96 and 97 ones look better than the 05 escalades. besides escalades are ghetto'd up by so many people. I bought an IS350 this summer, now i want to get an LX!
