Talking chromed the grill

well after not buying the grill kit on ebay, i opted for just scraping of the paint of the grill my mom has now and i have to say , it looks rly good. took me bout 30 minutes some goo gone , a razor, and my an ice cold pepsi yum . i know there has been a post talking about this, but imto lazyy to look, ill get some pics up later, btw i havent told my mom i did it yet, i ll let her notice the lil surprise herself

After your mom sees the surprise, I hope you live long enough to actually get ur drivers licence...

no my moms luvs the look of the grill on the new lx ,so shell have no problem with wat i did , i hope and yea at 14, ur summer can only go by only so much with just hanging with friends and camps, so experimenting with my parents cars help pass the time

my mom saw the grill and luved it, she said its the best thing shes seen my do to her car in a while , thanks for u guys telling my there was chrome underneath all that boring paint

this is also possible on the LX450 too. I did it to my LX about 2 years ago and it makes a world of difference. If anyone wants some pictures, i'll take some and post them up.

Thumbs up Finally did mine this weekend.

Didn't take too long. It sure did come out nice. This tank has 134,000 miles and is servied like it should be. Just wish we had a garage to keep it in. Well here's the pics.

I rhino-lined my stripped grille.....ya that whole chrome look didnt last on my truck.
