Hello all,
I am new to this club!
We are currently in the market for an SUV and we are looking at the ACURA MDX and the LEXUS LX470.
We need the folding third row of seats. The MDX seats actually go down in the floor and the 470's third seat only folds to the side. There is about a $20,000 price difference between the two.
Is the LX 470 worth the price?? Any advice or info about this car would be great. We have yet to drive it yet, just have seen them on the road ect.

read the few threads before this one all asking questions about the LX and check out the replies.....no offense but there is absolutely no comparison between the 2 vehicles and we should have a moment of silence for you even bringing about the thought of it.............................

The LXs' are awesome and definately worth the extra. I am a dealer and have yet to find another SUV that rides as smooth. I try to keep at least one in stock at all times to use as my driver. They have a ton of power, and awesome sound system, and are very comfortable for passengers. Guess who is always driving when we go out with friends? The acura is a nice car, but it is just not in the same category as the LX. I think you will like the way the seats fold down, then you don't have to have both down at the same time giving even more room . I have a 2000 Black 470 right now with 52,000 miles. I would sell it for $39000.
