2001 lx470 grill
I read about stripping the paint off the front grills and that they are chrome underneath. Is this true of '01 models too? If so, we are going to do it, since the ugly black paint is chipped anyway.

Yeah, my hubbie tried it and the chrome underneath was kinda rough looking so he ended up repainting it black. Oh well, it looks better no matter what- at least no chips anymore.
