airbag light on & no horn

airbag light on & no horn
any one know if the horn and airbag get power together... perhaps under the airbag or steering wheel? had to pull the column and replace the upper bracket assembly because the rod broke behind the key tumbler.. got it back together, installed and horn doesn't work and airbag light is on. I didn't pull them off for this job... thanks

The clockspring which holds wiring for the air bag and horn,and whatever on the steering wheel,like cruise control switch,audio control,if eqpuipped, is broken.The only fix is to replace another,very pricey for some models.HTH.
