Leveled Front Suspension?

Leveled Front Suspension?
Just totaled my Tahoe last week and am going to get a Lexus 470 within the next week or so. Will probably be an 06 or newer. Is there a way to level out the front suspension with the back to get rid of the raked look? Was wanting to put a least a 285 tire on. Please let me know.
Great forum. Have already learned a lot about the 470 and what I need to know.
Thanks.

The 285 was not a problem. At least I had them on for like 7 years and still think this was a pretty much ideal setup. Way better than my current stock tires on the 06.
As for the 'leveling out', could you tell us more? Not sure what do you mean. The truck is supposed to be level, the suspension ECU is constantly looking after it to keep it that way and you will notice that the truck raises/drops front or rear depending on the load, road angle etc.
There is a hack I used to remember (used in off-road once in a while) to manually control the hight of each corner. But this is really a hack, it would not do any good unless you use it for very short time for some purpose. I forgot the combination to activate it anyway by now, have not used it for a few years.

Yes, it can be done with a slight adjustment to the front AHC sensors and a couple turns of the Torsion bar bolts. To do it precisely would require a hydraulic pressure gauge but isn't necessary. I wouldn't raise the front end too much though (.75"). The rake was intentional. There will be a slight alignment change with it. Up to you if you want to have it realigned.

Well I ended up getting a 2005 over the weekend. Love the ride. I was talking about how the front is actually lower than the back and was wanting to level it out. My Tahoe was the same way and I put a 3" lift on it. Which actually lifted the front 3" and the back only .75". It allowed me to put 285's under it. Now that I know I could put 285's under the 470 as is then I won't need to worry about a lift. Don't really want to mess up the nice ride quality by cranking up the torsion bars.
I appreciate the replies and look forward to putting the bigger tires on in the future.
