Question Ticking noise

This may just be me being paranoid, but does anyone else here experience a ticking noise while accelerating in first gear? i mean once in second it goes away, but first gear has the noise, similiar to the noise i hear where older expeditions are around. I know it is not the heat shield, or those other things known to crack because we got those fixed, so any help? or in other words, should i worry or not? thanks and have a nice day

Does it go away after the engine warms up? If so, it's a crack in an exhaust manifold.

well i would think so, i mean it's a very minor ticking noise, and the dealership said our exhaust manifold were already replaced

Both manifolds replaced or just one of them?

tick, tickticktick, tick, tick, tick, tickticktick.
Nothing is more aggravating than that tick.tickticktickticktick.
Yes, we must fix it.

Ok, the ticking goes away after warming up the engine for about a minute. I guess it is just normal then. There is a difference between the tick, and the rattle of all those metal parts underneath the car
