Car Battery dead...Can't open the doors...
Hi guys,
The LX470 has been sitting in the driveway for about 3 months. Tried to open the doors today, but it wouldn't open with both the stock alarm and regular keyhole. To my own knowledge, I am assuming the keyhole will not work unless it detects the chip? but since the car battery is dead then the key will not turn? Or should it be able to turn anyways?
I'm thinking of using a slim jim to open the doors just to pop the hood up and recharge the battery.
Any advice would help.
Thanks.

It's a '98. Nevermind guys, the triple A guy told me the car's ignition was changed before so the key I have only works for the ignition and the remote alarm, but it will not work manually on the keyholes outside the ignition.
Just had a key made for the keyholes aside from the ignition. Now, if my car battery dies or my remote battery dies, I can still open the doors.
