I have a 1999 LX 470 and I would like to replace the serpentine belt. I have not been able to find an affordable repair manual for this SUV and as anyone of you know, Lexus dealerships will tell you of the manuals they will sell for hundreds of dollars. Does anyone know how to replace this belt(where is the tensioner) or where to find an affordable manual?

Toyota Material Distribution. I think you need vol 2 (engine mechanical). Vol 1 is electronic troubleshooting. I also have the electical manual, which has all the wiring pins/schematics on the vehicle and where the relays are located. Vol 2 is the most useful and will tell you how to replace the serp belt and properly tension the tensioner.
