Stalling Problem
Hello,
I have a 1999 LX 470 and have expirenced a "stalling out" problem in the last week. I am looking to see if anyone has an idea of what is wrong. It has stalled at idle twice in the last week and this morning it turned over 5 - 10 seconds before starting. Other than above, it runs fine and there is no reduction in power at any moving speeds. Any ideas?
Also, I have noticed a noise which seems to be comming from somewhere in the firewall around the front passanger floorboard. Although the sound is hard to explain, it kind of sounds like a mixture between a "humm" and a "squeek" and last for about 1-2 seconds. Has anyone else expirenced this as well?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I had something like that happen once over 4 year ago. Didn't think much of it. had the dealer look at it and they couldn't find anything wrong. Check your air filter and TB to make sure it is clean..

Thanks for your suggestions, I finally took it in and turns out it was a wireing issue. Apparently there was a loose connection somewhere to the fuel pump.

I had an issue last week that acted kind of like that, turned out to be moisture in the fuel lines. Anyway, glad to hear you're up and running. Hopefully you found it yourself or whoever fixed it didn't nail you too hard.
