I was at lexus talking with the tech there and we test drove another 2006 LX470 and it was a better ride he told me the only difference were the tire brands and that he has seen this problem before with the tires the ones on my truck are Dunlope and the ones on the other truck are michelin which ride smoother and softer which happens to be the same tires on my old 2006 GX470 which had the nice smoothe soft ride!!

The Michelins are quieter, smoother, have better turn in and while I haven't driven them in the wet or snow yet, have much better brake feel, etc.
My 2 cents... the Dunlops Grandtreks are crap tires.

The alignment was off on our 2006 so we only got about 33,000 miles out of the OEM Dunlops. We switched to the Michelins. What a huge difference.

I dont think it's the tires anymore they are very smooth and quiet I think it's the suspension maybe the shocks or something? I just cant believe a truck of this caliber rattlelike this when you hit a pot hole or a man hole! this is a lexus! there is a guy two block from me who has the same truck I have been meaning to catch him one day and ask him how his truck rides.it's almost like the shocks are set sport.

I took it to lexus Of Englewood but I will see about trying Lawrenceville they are like 55 miles away from me I"m in Teaneck NJ.I know it's not the tires it's something with the suspension for sure I will Never Buy a used truck again! even if it's certified like this one!
Thanks I will keep researching someone else must have this problem.
