I’m looking for buy an LX 2005-2007 but having a hard time on finding one at the right price. It seems like all other cars have dropped prices drastically but this truck is holding its own. And god forbid if the color is black or dark grey, its $5k more…..am I missing something here? What gives? – what would be a good price for 2006 with lets say under 40k miles on it?

how do you figure they're holding their prices? for what I paid I feel that it devalued significantly in the past 5 years. Getting a 70k car for $25-30k is not a bad deal especially since they are rock solid.

I dont know if this might or might not be a factor but I have heard not just from the people at the dealerships but I have seen them over sea's these trucks are renowned for there capablities and quality build so many people buy them Just to ship them to other countrys I have also know of people who wait to buy them used at the lower price.actually before I bought mine I was monitoring them at the dealerships so that I could buy one and to be honest you dont get to many of them used for sale maybe one sometimes two

2007's are in the 39-40K range, however 2006's are in the mid to high 30 range. I am watching them right now as I am in the market for myself.

what's the difference between a 2006 and 2007 except probably the later most likely would have less miles on the odometer? If you're in it for the utility and the reliability 2004 up is pretty much the same. The few horsepower difference wouldn't make that big of a difference. Also these cars can easily do 150k miles before anything major goes wrong, so either way you get an LX and you're already a winner.

2006-2007 - no changes. Pre-2006 minor differences, overall - neglectable IMHO, but some people consider the HP change after 2005 to be important. Throughout the years it recieved various electronic updates, which again matter is the matter of preference. But neither changed the substance or feel of the vehicle.
