Another AHC question.. bad shock? seriously
Ok, I read through alot of AHC problem threads from the search, but dont have the info I'm looking for...
'04 LX470, and AHC globes have been replaced... also flushed the AHC fluid. At the moment it's got 120k miles on it.
When I hit a bump, the chassis bobbles diagonally (mildly)... and the culprit seems to be the front right shock. This is the same feeling when a shock is blown out on a normal car as well (just one corner). Also, the AHC pump is working, and the sensors seem to work because it's traying to level the ride constanly, but the front right corner seems to droop a bit lower often. When raising or lowering the height, the bad corner also makes a slight rubbing sound (from shock?).
I just want to confirm that it's new shocks that I need before dropping big $$ for a new set (if I change 1, I plan to change all 4). Someone stated before that the shocks should las forever, but this is not the case here... so I think.
Please help~

Ok.. stopped by the dealer and ordered 4 new shocks. I guess w/ 120k on the meter, it's deserved. Let's see how it goes. Install looks pretty straightforward.

Thanks for the tip... my bleeders should be ok. I used them when swapping out the accuator globes (from TexasOil) but that's a whole nuther story. Overall, I never had good results with his globes, and ended up picking up new oem Accuators (not installed yet).
Currently the car bounces diagonally (like a blown shock)... it could just be bad actuators still, but at 120k miles I went ahead and got new oem shocks too. I havent installed yet, because the 2 O-rings that go on top of each shock had to be ordered separately, and I should be able to pick them up today. I can't wait to have the perfect suspension again (like when it was new).
Hope this all works!~
