97 LX 450 runs hot
Hi guys, new-to-me owner of a 97 LX-450 with 197k miles on her. What I could use some help with (and thanks in advance) is that it seems that the radiator runs really hot (like can't even touch the cap) yet the the temp gauge never rises above normal (mid range). Have checked levels and all is good, just wondering if my rad is full of sediment or blocked up. I do not have a solid handle on the maintenance schedule (flush) that the former owner did or did not do, so wondering what's best way to go about this without spending cash unnessarily? Thanks a lot!

Well, its a radiator. There usually around 200 degrees hot. LoL
If your temp gauge is bouncing up and down, and your radiator hoses are squishy when its running under normal engine temp, then you got a problem.
