Hello, I'm looking into integrating IPOD to the NAV Sytem... There seems to be a lot to choose from out in the market to do the job. Any recommendations on which one to choose that will give a great sound quality as well as having the test displayed on the Nav?

I looked into buying the Lexus iPod kit from Sewell Lexus a few months ago. I have 07 LX470, same nav as '06. Mine has XM radio option. You cannot have both connected to the unit, it's one or the other. I use the cassette adapter to the iPod. It's got better sound than the typical RF adapters that you can buy. If you find something that supports both XM and Ipod with display on Lexus NAV, I would be interested in hearing.

Check Ebay. Interated Solutions is the name I belive. The XM is integrated and you use the line out from your ipod. You can't contol the ipod, but the sound quality is great and I have it hidden in the center console with enough slack to pull it out and lay across my lap when using.

I finally found a solution for iPod and iPhone 3G integration with LX470 07' at Crutchfield. It hooks up to the stereo unit and is compatible with the OEM XM radio module installed by dealer.

Part # 581PA20TOY USA Spec iPod Interface Toyota/Lexus $169

Installed in about 1 hour. Connected to iPhone 3G and the sound is much better than any FM modulator or cassette adapter. Charges the iPhone as well.

Next task is get the Navigation override module from Prestigious Society.
