I have the area and four bolt holes to mount a receiver to the bumper of my 2004 LX470. I have seen a simple plate that mounts in this area w/ 4 bolts and need to find one.

I called the dealership and a hitch place and niether know what I'm talking about. Any help on where to find one would be greatly appreciated!

I must not understand what your after. I though all LX had a hitch. Are you talking about the part connected to the ball or bolted to the actual truck?

Theres a special plate that bolts to the bumper that allows you to install ball receivers, bike racks and the like. It can be had at the dealership. Go to toyota, its cheaper.

The one in the bumper, behind the cover is for a bike rack only.
You have to put a hitch under the rear bumper.

51990-60010 is what you need... plus the neccessary electricals to light up your trailer... this bolts to teh rear bumper bar, which is part of the frame... bolts included...
