My son found a 2000 LS 400 wooden steering wheel for my Lexus however, it does not fit. Does anyone know what years of LX or LS that the wood steering wheel will fit a 1999 LX? The problem with the 2000 LS was the base/shaft is slightly larger on the LS.

You can use any wheel for a LX470 from 98 until 2005 but don't believe that a steering wheel from an another model like the LS will fit. Anyways the wooden ones are xxxpen$ive.

I used a steering wheel and airbag from LS430 into my 99 model LX470, fitted perfectly.

unsolisited comment - it looks pretty, does not feel as nice and is not as convenient. Not huge but I would prefer a good "normal" steering wheel any day.
