Default Any way to get brighter backup bulbs?

I live in a dark, rural area. My driveway is really long and some nights it is very difficult to see when backing out. Is there some way to use a brighter bulb or otherwise get more light output on the backup lights?

That looks great. How close is the backup circuit to the license frame?

I have not come across any LED bulbs brighter for reverse lights than the OEM bulbs. If any of you find a pair, lmk.

Landcruisers/LX's in the UK (LX is sold as the Landcruiser sahara) have rear fog lights. Basically those reflectors that do nothing in your rear bumper are real lights on overseas vehicles, just as the hood scoop on overseas Toyota 4runners serves a real purpose (turbo intercooler intake).

I bought some Sylvania high output halogen bulbs but I can't figure out how to
get to the bulbs to replace. What is the procedure for getting to the backup bulbs?

Remove rear panel. Its not hard at all then unscrew light housing. You will then have the entire light assm. in your hands. Change the bulb.
