I am thinking if I want to stay with SUVs, perhaps the X5, but a sedan might be nice. Any ideas? Thanks

How about this...

On e-bay you can pick up a LX450 for around 15-18k with about 80,000 miles and in good condition. Then you would plenty of money left over for maybe even a GS? OR A SUPRA!!!!!!

God the M series BMW are awesome and I heard they are doing an MX5. Rumours of it.

I have been hearing for a while that there will be an M7 and a remake of the M1. Man, that M3 GTS is fast but who wants to pay a quarter mil for it.

From all the articles I have read, BMW looks as though the closest thing they will offer as an "M" X5 series will be that X5 4.6. Apparently they want to keep the "M" designation for there cars only.

Have you read about the 2004-2005 500 HP V10 M5 that is slated for production in the next generation 5 Series?

I think BMW also wants to reserve the "M" series vehicles as high powerd manual transmission vehicles.

Well Audi and Volvo have done their cross-over SUV wagons and BMW looks to be the next in the market. M is something BMW throws around a lot. But will never put it into mass production with each engine being hand manufactured. The M-X5 was a concept but hasn’t made it pass that point. The M7 looks to be hitting the market in 2004 - 2005. The thing is this new Hybrid SUV-wagon may have M on it as early as a year after its 2003 release.

The 4.6 liter X5 has done well in all its comparison tests (especially against the ML55 AMG)! I would go with a beamer because it has the looks and the power to give you a significant upgrade over the 230 hp lexus lx 470 engine. You may wanna check out the Escalade as well. And, if you're looking for a hot convertible, I'd be happy to tell you more about how much I love my SC 430!

If youve owned a lexus SUV, then its going to be hard to go with any other SUV because they are going to fall apart pretty frequently.
