LX470 Nav Bypass (versus DVD bypass)
OK, I just got through installing a NAV VIDEO interface in my 2002 LX470.
I hooked a Crimestopper SV-5420.IR.C PlateCam.
Did a bypass (ground red wire with white stripe, cut violet wire).
Assumed it would also bypass Nav feature. But in actual only allows for reverse cam to work & DVD to play while in motion.
Is there a way to allow for passenger to enter in a destination address while in motion?
Maybe another speed sensor wire on the Nav unit?
If there is a speed sensor wire on Nav, will bypassing it affect GPS calculations, or is there a specific wire only used to disable address entry?

Nav override
"Press the menu button, then choose system option. Then press the top left of the screen, then the bottom left of the screen, then the top left again, then the bottom left again, then finally touch the bottom right of the screen. It will bring up a system menu. Choose the override button, then hit back."
