Lx for off road toy and hunting vehicle
I am looking to buy a 99-01 lx for my toy. Wanting to lift for larger tires. Bumpers for winch. And also still want to keep the lx as a very classy looking useful vehicle that I can leave a business lunch and go deer hunting and then drive to the club to play golf. Exterior appearance is critical. I've seen some pictures on the internet and this site. Just needing some ideas and feedback and maybe cost expectations also what is a good base vehicle to start with. And what millage for that purchase. Thanks. Feedback and photos apppreciated.lm

is this too much for a "business lunch" or your country club?
go to www.sleeoffroad.com for prices on offroad gear/lift
The LX came standard with an adjustable suspension, so you could lift it 2" on demand and keep the normal height around town. 33" tires will fit, 275/75/16, without modification. You could remove that AHC and install an Old Man Emu lift, less fussing around and at this point, due to the age of the vehicle your looking for, probably more reliable.

Here's an example of a slightly "toned down" appearance.
No rhino-lining, still has some chrome and alloy wheels.
