Does anyone have any experience with contaminated AHC fluid. We purchased a car from our neighbor who did not tell us he had a problem with the AHC fluid and the accumulators being flat. He repaired them on 10/30/07 and we purchased the car on 11/4/07. The flluid in contaminated again with water. How would the water get in?????? Also, is there anyway to completely clean the system and not just dump the car? Any help or information would be appreciated.

If it is beyond a simple fluid exchange, I'd just pull the AHC in favor of a modest Old Man Emu lift set-up. Far cheaper, should ride equally as good and you never have to worry about the complicated/expensive AHC again.
Here are a couple "how-to" threads for the fluid replacement. I think it is like $50 a bottle.

I'd pull the AHC out completely also. I've done that to mine, rides much better. You can even just put the OEM land cruiser shocks/t-bars in and have stock ride height, along with bilstein shocks for a sporty ride, perfect for nevada's smooth as glass pavement.

You can install a stock Landcruiser suspension for about $1200 in parts. Many people have done it. The LC torsion bars in front are thicker, rear springs are thicker/longer. IIRC, the rear sway bar might be thicker on the LC. Check the P/N for the 2006 landcruiser with and without AHC. You can buy all the non-AHC parts and have them installed. This is what I plan to do when/if my AHC fails.
