hi guys, so my dad and i are going to install an amplifier and subwoofer on our 2001 Lx470 with the mark levinson package, and we were wondering if anyone could help us find out which wires to connect to the amplifier, and also where exactly do you route the power cable through after you connect it to the battery? thank you.

If you replace the amp you need to replace the speakers.You are better off putting in a new head unit and spreakers that are properly sealed and eliminating the sub and amp

Just went through this with our 2001 LX470. We had to get the Mark Levinson amp refurbished in New York and the Sub resealed locally. Costly, but having the Mark Levinson makes it almost impossible to do anything else. Good Luck, wish you well.

I grabbed the connection from the factory sub in the back and wired my amp to my 2 12" subs. then i ran the power through the drivers side under the carpet and factory plastics to the hood. I kept the nav HU

Where can I have the amp rebuilt? Can I bypass the amp on my 2001 lx470 and get the radio to work?

Did this work? Just using the existing ML sub connections to run your aftermarket subs/amp?
