My 6 disc changer went out back in 2004ish with some good music in it. With a quick search I discovered the CD players were crap and didnt seem like it was worth fixing. The ipod just took its place.
Im looking for an 2006 LX and am going to sell my 1999 soon and thought that I would like to get those CDs out if its not too much of a pain. Any suggestions?

Had the same problem with my 99. Toyota tech guy came out and held in the unload button for a few seconds, and wa la! cd's came out!

 

I did like it's say above,have to pull stereo out and recover CD.

 

Yeah I had no luck holding any buttons down, beating the dash, ect. ect.
Traded it last week so someone will maybe discover them in its next life.
