It's about the bulb's projector not so much the kit.

My LS430's HIDs are indeed a great pattern, but apparently the projector is too large to retrofit into the LX headlights.

The large projector is probably why the LS430's HIDs are so bright...larger projection surface area (assuming you have a good shape) means more light is collected and focused. Still, Loud and my retrofitted HIDs in the LX are 4x brighter than the pathetic halogens. If you want a spare pair of H1 non-HID lamps, I have a set of new JDM PIAA super whites I'd be willing to sell to anyone here.
