I've looked at the lexus website but have not found these answers:

Does the 2003 LX have HID headlights and parking assist that beeps when you're too close to an object while parking? (the ls430 has both of these features and I'm hoping the LX has them too!).

As to the HID lights, the Lexus website states the 2003 LX will have "Auto on/off projector-beam halogen headlamps." So I guess that means no HIDs. Look under the safety features.link
