Considering projector headlights. any thoughts?
I'd like to replace my stock headlights with ones that are more brighter and have a different look on the LX. Do any of you have these installed on your LX?

Thanks

I hate to be a nay sayer but I think the quality falls well short of what you (we) have. I would also be cautious about that projector casting a consistent beam pattern. Finally, these lamps might detract rather than enhance the look of your LX.
Have you installed a HID kit? If not, your money might be better spent upgrading to HID on low beams and fogs.

Hi,
I've had an H.I.D. kit on my LX470 since 1999, and they have worked flawlessly to this day, except when the Lexus dealer got confused with the wiring, (which, BTW is quite simple to install and work with). I've been very happy with the lights. I purchased the kit online from XenonKing.com, and have installed three more of their kits on family vehicles. Prices were good and they had the full spectrum of color tempertures to suit your taste; that "blue" look, (10000k) or brightest white (4300k) for best visisbility.
I also have a pair of Philips off-road H.I.D. lamps since 1986, that despite their small size, (1 1/2" H x 3"W), make it look like the sun came out in front of your vehicle. They've worked flawlessly since 1986 and being taken off and reinstalled on my last 4 vehicles and run over 500,000 miles, including off-road.
I'd recommend H.I.D. conversions for any vehicle. As bright as they are, when adjusted properly, they never seem to bother oncoming vehicles. Go for quality and ease of installation... doesn't cost much more, if any.
Good luck,
Kevin
