Hello anyone remember what actual work was done on the recall of the VGRS system back in September? Had a problem this past week and dealership is saying it's unrelated; $30000.00 repair bill

Lexus ended up buying my LX back after the recall due to the vehicle going haywire. Computers, a few rack and pinion systems, and brake housings to name a few all malfunctioned after the recall.

I had the drifting and slack issues as well - the truck just couldn't hold a lane.
After the recall repair, the gf and I went to dinner and when we tried to turn, the wheel went with us but the truck kept going straight for a couple of seconds before it turned and jumped the curb. VGRS/VSC lights came on and back to the dealer it went.

dealership says mine is fixed but the other day I was driving and with the steering wheel straight, the car drifted very quickly into the lane next to me - scared me to death! Phone call into Lexus today and I wasn't very nice! I DEMANDED a rep come out to MY house and drive the roads I drive every day in our town to see how safe he/she feels driving a car that drives it's self! After 3 weeks of waiting on a report of all the things the dealership did to fix my car, I finally got it! I was told the tie rods were replaced, but it's not on the report. Looked under the vehicle and looks like only the outter tie rods were replaced (not sure why it wasn't on my vech rpt)...anyway, but not the inner! Now there is a clunking noise when I am on my dirt roads and hit the washboards going about 5 to 10 mph while applying my brakes to turn on to our road. If this is just a inner tie rod issue, I will be so absolutely mad that it took since April 2011 to figure this out and that I - a woman who doesn't work on cars - had to figure it out! We'll see what the outcome will be! I told Lexus today that if this causes me to have an accident, they can get ready for a lawsuit - and we have never threaten to sue anyone! I am just that sick of this problem and sick of the run-around with the dealership and Lexus!
