Default Drivers window trouble LX470

The drivers window runs up and down smoothly but when roll it up it goes all the way up, then half way back down. Is there a limit stop switch that could be bad? Thanks for the help.

What year is your Lex...............I believe that the pinch protector is engaging..This happens when something is in the window track or the memory is lost....... When the window is brought up in the auto mode it will automatically lower to the half way for the above reasons....First, check the track for any foreign object...If none, raise the window by flicking the window switch repeatly..This will override the auto mode..When you get about three inches from the top stop flicking the switch..Then flick the switch again until you have window closed........I have an 07 es350 that had the drivers side window replaced with this same problem (lost the memory)..In order to reset the pinch protector, the door panel has to be removed and motor unplugged......I just dont use the auto feature...You can google pinch protector referencing your model year and learn more about the pinch protector feature and how to reset...Hope this helps..Let me know.....
