I'm looking to repair a paint chip that is on my door handle. I went to my lexus dealer to see about purchasing touch up paint. And I come to find that there are 2 paints that say Blizzard Pearl. The LX with the paint chip is blizzard pearl. Do I need both? 070 - Blizzard Pearl and then the other one is 070 - Blizzard Pearl Basecoat.

 

Blizzard Pearl is a 3-layer color: base coat, mid coat and clear coat. Based on that, I would guess you would need both. Paintscratch.com, which is a popular touch-up paint vendor, might be a good place to look to cross-reference perhaps.
