Two Front Seat Problems
Two front seat problems:
1. There is some type of short with or bad connection of the front passenger heated seat switch, as the seat heats at random when the switch is in the off position. How do I test for a bad switch or to disable the switch or fuse to same?
2. The driver’s seat lumbar support is broken, as the lumbar support bolster does not reduce/lessen when I attempt to do so. Is there any way to manually reduce/lessen same, as I find lumbar support uncomfortable, while certain family members feel otherwise? How do I test whether it is the switch or the bolster motors, etc. within the seat itself?
Any help/guidance is appreciated.
Thank you!

Dunno about the heater issue, but the lumbar problem is common. I took my lumbar switch off and fiddled around with it, put it back together, and it started working again. You could try that.

Thank you for your reply. Didn't realize the lumbar support problem was common. By chance, can you direct me to a particular thread providing instructions on the assembly of the switch? Thanks again!

I just grabbed a screwdriver and started taking stuff apart. At the time, the lumbar switch *only* was around $90 at the dealer and I was not 100% sure of the problem. So I took it apart to get a better look. Took the switch out, clicked it a bunch of times in my hands. Then put everything back together and it started working again. Hope it works for you.
