check the engine temperature when the cutoff happen, some time the a/a can't cool enough when the engine is too hot.
also can be the expansion valve

I recently had some front AC lines replaced by the dealer to "fix" my AC. It blew cold for a while, but is warm again. Time to call the dealer and have them take another look. If I end up keeping this LX, it needs to have working AC.

Alas, the rear lines also need replacing - about another $1K. I spent the weekend driving the vehicle visiting friends on some awful roads. It again reminded me why I like this vehicle - being able to take it on roads and conditions that beat lesser vehicles to a pulp.

if it works at idle at not at higher engine speeds the freon level could be low. you need about 200 lbs of pressure on the high side at 1500 rpm at around 80 degrees, higher pressure at higher temps and lower pressure at lower temps
