Default VSC, VSC TRAC and ABS lights on.

Hi I am new to this Forum although I've reading a lot of posting by other LX owners. This is my first time posting for myself. Anyways, I have 2001 and I owned my LX since 2003, now has 78K miles, never give me any issues until last Friday(10/26/12) when ABS, VSC off and VSC TRAC off lights came on. Every time I put ignition key on position 2, the CD changer seems ratlles inside, sounds like CD got stuck inside. I don't know if this is a just a co-incidence or this is s part of the issue. I've searching for any cheap solutions before I bring it to the dealership. I am wandering if any owner is also experience this issue and are willing to share the solutions. Thanks in advance.

Have heard sometimes as easy as making sure gas cap is on securely .. Not sure how the two are related but free to try vs a trip to dealer

Default ABS, VSC off and VSC TRAC Lights

I too have an '01 LX and have had it for a while. Unlike yours, mine is and has been horribly unreliable since i bought it in '05. Yet, for some reason i cannot explain, i still have it

Last year while driving on a dirt road my ABS, VSC and TRAC lights all came on. Fortunately my braking capability was unaffected and the fix was cheap. Dust on one of the ABS sensors.

However, my lights came on again 2 weeks ago and my brakes were nonfunctional. My brake booster failed. In the LX, the brake booster has the computer and some other bits integrated.

$2700 later, lights off and i am braking again.....and still have not put a for sale sign in the windowrolleyes:

that could actually be your ABS/Speed Sensors or bearings. Take it to Midas tell them to check your bearings and front-end for play. To much play will throw-off the ABS/Speed Sensors and cause the beeps. If driving and your wheels lock can be one of those also: the Bearings & ABS/ Speed Sensors.
