Headlight on LX 470
I have a headlight that is out on the drivers side. I called the Lexus dealership and they want $300 dollars to change it. The light that is out is the main headlight (the one that comes on at night). Is that the low beam or high beam light? Also how difficult will it be to change it and can you give me some instructions on how to do it.
Thanks!

It's the low beam. Bulb replacements are type 9006 IIRC (check with any autoparts store). Bulb should be <$20.
Replacement takes a few minutes.... to gain access to the back of the housing pulling the battery out makes it easy - if you have smal hands you can do it with that step.
There is a white cap on the back of the HL housing, rotate counterclockwise to expose the bulb. Swap in new bulb. Done.
