Default 2005 LX 470 A/C problem

I own 2005 LX 470. A/C blows cold air only at Max Cold and hot air at all other temp. I have it checked at toyota dealer and they checked air temp sensor ( just below steering wheel) plus blend motor ( which they initially thought was the problem ) and found no issue with them. Also cleaned cabin filter and no issues. Now they are telling me likely it is the A/C control panel issue but not sure and want me to take the car to Lexus dealership. In past I have shown to Lexus dealership but told there is no issue.
Please if anyone can help me out here I will really appreciate.
thanks

Max cold is like a forced A/C only mode.

If all you are getting is hot air I would think the issue would be temp sensor related

I am having the same exact problem too.

My Indy, just replaced the Steering column assembly that holds the ignition coil (the shaft actually broke) and now all I get is the hot air.

Yes at Max cold, I do get some cold air bit at all other temps, it;s hot air.

I have heard there's a temp sensor right in or around that steering column (under neath) but not sure where exactly.

Can some one point me to that picture/diagram?

Any other possibilies?

Pict of the assembly attached, the one I just had replaced

Thanks

temp sensor ( if i am not wrong ) is under the steering wheel where your right knee is while sitting on driver seat.

Try using your rear air controls. I had mine shut off, changed the fuse did not help. Turned on the rear air controls and within 10 minutes the front fired backup and that was 6 months ago and still works fine. I think mine was a moisture problem. Vegas 100 on a trip through Colorado 4 nights of lots of rain and moisture and then a rainy over night in Santa Fe. About 20 minutes into the drive back to Vegas the air quit. Stopped and changed the fuse. Turned on the rear air using the rear air controls and about 10 minutes later as we drove down the freeway in the dry air the front air started working and no trouble since?? I've been in rain and moisture since then but nothing like happened in Denver with all the flooding.
