Default Really stupid rear entertainment questions

Hi guys/girls, I just found these forums and have 2003 LX and can't seem to get the rear entertainment system (RES) to work. The manual looks like it goes with 2002 models, which might explain my confusion. BTW I do have the remote control and have tried using it as well. Anyway, here are the issues:

1) RES screen had sticker on it from factory that says you need headphones with wires, even though they gave me wireless headphones

2) RES screen says "no DVD" even though there is a DVD in the 6 disc changer. The manual looks like it refers to a separate DVD changer, but damned if I can find one.

3) The "Display" screen on the NAV has a button that says "Rear Off" and if you push it, it says "Rear Off" highlighted. Not sure what that does?? Doesn't ever say "Rear ON"!

4) Not sure what the FM modulation does? or how you put it on FM whilst trying to listen to a CD or DVD

I have gotten the DVD to work on the front NAV screen after finally figuring out you needed the parking brake on........

Much appreciation from a new LX owner.

THANKS
Jim

Open the rear hatch, on the right side there is a plastic piece that you need to open, DVD player is there. You will probably have to drop the third seat flat on the right side to get to it. Use menu buttons to get to FM screen, will allow you to use the system through the speakers.

I noted this question on the forum that was not answered. I just bought a 2004 LX with the OEM installed DVD player. I can not find what the "rear off" button does on the display screen of the NAV. The dealer says it allows you to see on the DVD screen (rear) what is displayed on the front-but I have been unable to get that function button to do anything. I also can not monitor the nav screen in the rear (great feature for the kids). Can anyone help??
