Removal of instrument cluster
There are a few indicator lights that are burned out in the instrument gauge cluster of my 2001 LX470 and the clear plastic piece protecting the gauges is seriously scratched. Does anybody have step by step instructions to remove the cluster? Is the clear plastic lens replaceable? I've tried some different plastic cleaners and they helped but it still looks abused--I'd like to replace it or at least get it out of the vehicle to clean it better.
Thanks
Thanks

I can't imagine the LX cluster being much different to remove than the Land Cruiser's. Here's a link to the LC cluster removal instructions:

Colin,
Thanks for the info--the instructions make it sound easier than I expected. I'll make the attempt after I buy the lamps. It will also give me a chance to try and clean all the streaking on the cluster lens. I'm glad somebody still reads and replies to these posts!
