Does anyone know where I can buy JAOS Brush Guards for my LX470 for cheaper than $1200. I love the beefy look of these but 1200 is way too much to spend for them. What do you guys think of the JAOS Bars, there on www.JAOS.com I'm probably just gonna do the Manik's if I cant find a good deal on the JAOS. Thanks guys...

I'm afraid there isn't really anyone here who deals with Jaos products. My only suggestion is to talk to Dave at gtautosports.com. He's all about importing Japanese products at good prices, and Jaos is a Japanese company. Check him out and see if he can get you a better price. Mention that the folks at ClubLexus.com referred him to you. Just email him: Dave

Before i get started this is only my opinion.
A LX470 is a exclusive luxury automobile and unless your gonna use it for off-roading a Jaos Bull Bar is probbaly the ugliest thing you could put on it and takes all the class, finesse and elegance from the car. Although I've seen Manik grille guards on LX470's at Lexus of Southfield (saw one today) and they do look nice but before you install a grille guard and brushguards take into account that the LX470 and 100 series Landcruisers were designed to appeal to the average consumer and not the off-roader. A LX470 is an extremely classy vehicle, a Grille Gurad would take away much of this in my opinion, although if you are going for a rugged look than go for it, if your goin for a off-roading machine look go with Jaos. I'm currently looking at all options for my LX450 but this is only because everyone tells me it's outdated and obsolete, but I still haven't seen many pics of my car with a grille guard and fully accesorized (looking for a pic with a chrome grille guard on a black LX450) so I have difficulty making the decision to add components to it. I know if I had a LX470 I would try to keep it as elegant as possible because it is a beautiful piece of finely crafted metal.

My car is black, ever seen a Black LX450 with chrome rims and chrome grille and brush guards? I wonder if that would look sick? Do you think that stuff takes away the luxury and class of it though, I've been debating this in my head ever since I got the car.
