All:
We want to tint our front 470 windows to match the rear. Can anyone tell me (from first hand experience) the closest "match"? I saw where the RX300 FAQ identified Llumar Platinum Plus as a "best match" but I've been told that the RX OE is a different tint? I have also been advised that Madico's "Cool Chrome" is a very close match. Anyone tinted their front windows to match the rear? What did you use?
Thanks ever so much,
Bill

FYI - Spoke with the Sewell team today (know I know why they are #1 in sales and service - fabulous folks) and they use Madico NS-35 on the front door windows to match the second and third row windows.

Identical under some lighting conditions, close under others (LX OE tint is lightly "mirrored" sometimes, smokey others). Sewell has tried every available tint - this is the closest in thier opinion and I agree. Cost is consistent with other "sputtered" tints and varies by location. $65 at a shop near our Fl home and $90 up here in Va. I suspect in your neck of the woods, cost will be very low.
As an aside, I was in DFW last week and stopped by Sewell to pick up a part....unbelievable '03 new car inventory..several RX's, LX's, GX's and SC's (counted 7 LX's). No shortage there!
