Assistance and advice on replacing the channel sub assembly - Rear passenger window
I figured out why my rear passenger window (2000 LX470)was not longer going up and down.
There is a a channel that the window sits in at the very bottom - Part number 69905-60050. This channel has another channel that the windows actuator arm slots into and this is what raises and lowers the window.
Well i found my channel sitting at the bottom of the door well - it somehow slipped off of the bottom of the window.
Has anyone else had this happen and how did you get the channel back onto the window? I've tried a number of things and it looks like it was crimped to the window AFTER it was installed.
Any suggestions? Am I able to reuse the part or do I need to purchase a new one.
