Hello all. First timer here and yes I used the search bar before submitting this post.

I recently got a 2004 LX470 passed down to me with a cool 210K on the dash.

The car itself is in great shape aside from cosmetic imperfections and technical issues.

The first problem is the touch screen unit. This LX470 came with the top premium package with navigation/CD player/rear seat movie player.

The touch screen display shows SMPTE like color bars. The one you see on TV with no connections.

The touch screen display itself works as I can navigate settings when I press the screen blindly.

The second problem are the locks for the driver door and front passenger door.

The key/lock control panel on door seems to function properly for the rear doors and everything else.

The driver door and front passenger door will not respond to the key or the lock control panel.

I can hear the locks moving and the lock itself on the door panel moving slightly but it will not lock/unlock.

Any help will be great for these issues as I am trying to resolve it myself to avoid extra money going in.
