Is this a good price for a 1999 LX 470 with 25000 mile 35000. Also a 2000 with 16000 mile for 42000?What are some pro and Con with SUV say them in the paper today. already have a 2001 gs430 and looking to ad a suv. Could someone please help.

I used advanced search at autotrader when I went shopping for my GS4 earlier this year. I put in the year, mileage and price that I am willing to pay for all area. That gave me an idea what is the average, better and great price for the vehicle that I want. Then I can make a decision on whether the cars in my area are priced competitively.

Go with the LX and you wont be sorry. I have a black 99 lx470 with 100,000 miles and haven't had a single problem yet. IMO it is the best looking and best riding suv on the oad today. Just go and drive one and you'll know what i am talking about.

I've seen 2000's in the $33's. You may not be able to buy it from a Lexus dealer, but
my 1998 has 110K and it drives like brand new. What about a G500??

I just purchased a 2000 LX470 with 36000 miles for $38,000 a few weeks ago (go into details in other post on this site). I think $35000 for the 1999 model is a little high but that may be the going price in your market. Check out kbb, edmunds, autotrader, and cars.com to make sure you have up to date information on prices in your area.

If you are patient you can get a good deal on a 2000, plus there are some safety feathers added to the 2000 that make it the better buy.

I bought mine ( 99 LX-470,35 K miles,navigation system,all 4 new tires) and ofcourse certified for $34,500 about 6 months ago.I think it was a good price at the time considering it's pearl white,low miles and certified.Hope it helps.

navigation on a 99? That option wasnt offered until 01 an was kinda rare even then.

You should find an abundance of off-lease 2000 models coming up shortly. I'd do like the others have said and use autotrader.com and compare prices. Sometimes Lexus dealers in Southern California have better deals than our local Texas market which is truly amazing. Good luck!
