2000 LX470 Multiple AHC Issues
Yo! First post on this site! First off, the Height Control Light on the Dash (the one that shows low, normal, and high height with the OFF light) is not showing. Like you can see that the light provisions are there behind the glass covering the dash, but its light does not seem to work at all. No response from it or the AHC system/pump when the control switch (diagonally to the top left of the gear selector) is operated. We took the car to a mechanic circa a week ago and they connected the AHC pump directly to the battery and the pump was running fine and hydraulic was shooting out of the supply line to the shocks. However, when the pump is normally connected to the car's electrical system and the car's engine is running and the height switch is operated, the pump does not respond. We've tried a multitude of things, however, one thing we haven't tried is changing the relay and the fuse of the AHC. I'm pretty sure this could be the issue as nothing else is the problem. Just today we had an issue where the car was not firing right and was jerking like crazy, sometimes you press the gas pedal and there's a 2 second interval between when the car fires, we thought it was the fuel pump or filter or even the injectors, all were brought out and thoroughly cleaned except the fuel filter which was replaced. Few test drives later, turns out it was the Fuel Pump Relay that was fried. So it got me thinking, maybe the AHC relay and/or fuse have also kicked the bucket? Any suggestions? Any thing i can look at given the above symptoms? Thanks in advance!!
